Ryo Ishikawa Turning Pro

16 year old Japanese phenom Ryo Ishikawa announced that he is turning pro. Ryo is a household name in his home country and is seen as the person who can save Japanese golf. The headlines said "Bring on Tiger" and Ryo said he hopes to one day win the US Masters. I know I rag on other young players doing this- but for someone I'm rooting for Ryo.

One of the biggest differences between Ryo and Hawaiian Tad Fujikawa at least to me is the fact that Ryo has already won and has more popularity. It is estimated that he'll make up to $10 million just off endorsements and play in the next couple of years, whereas Tad has no guaranteed money.
