More exciting than a golf photo

The Players Championship finally provided the amazing finish the PGA Tour has been hoping for after a few lackluster finishes. Sergio Garcia won on the 1st playoff hole after Paul Goydos dunked a ball into the pond at 17. What an effort by Goydos and Sergio.
While I can't say I've ever had a single shot cost be $700k, the difference between the winning paycheck and 2nd place, I can feel Goydos pain a little bit (for the record I also don't feel too bad for someone who still cashes over $1M for a weekend's work). There is a course near my place called Renditions which copies championship holes around the world including the 17th at Sawgrass. I took a total of 7 shots at the island green that day and none of them hit the putting surface. Well, two hit- and didn't stay there. The conditions were actually similar to yesterday. It was quite windy and chilly. They must make so much money off diving for the ProV1's.
