Oh Mr. Kim, Please Entertain Us

Anthony Kim won Tiger's event this weekend- with his new belt buckle shining brightly. The rest of this year could be entertaining after all. Imagine Kim using this season to "learn" how to win and setting up a 2009 and beyond with an Idol vs Admirer matchup that will keep golf interesting for years to come.
Kim is the first person under 25 to win two times in a year since Tiger almost a decade ago. I'm not calling Kim the next Tiger Woods- let's not be ridiculous. That said- could this finally be the one to challenge? The one we are looking for to rival Tiger into his late 30s?

I'm quite impressed with Kim's mental strength, his attitude during pressure situations, and his acceptance of all shots during a round.
I followed Anthony Kim during his final two rounds in contention at Hilton Head in April this year. Having never heard of him, I too was extremely impressed by his cool under pressure. Despite a hiccup double-bogey on #9 on Sunday (playing in the final twosome with Boo Weekley) essentially dropping him from serious contention, he righted himself and made a terrific even par final round for T-2. He plays much like a veteran despite his youthful 23 years of age.
