RIP Golf For Women
By Kickntrue on 7/8/08
Golf For Women is no more. The magazine which was started in 1988 had a subscription base of around 600,000. The now-former Editor of Golf For Women, Susan Reed, will be heading to O, The Oprah Magazine to try to bolster a slumping readership.

isn't it really odd that they would just close shop vs sell this thing? you would think someone is willing to at least pay for the subscribers...

that statement doesn't reflect a value on women. it reflects the amount of cash we have on hand for acquisitions.

How disappointing. I purchased a subscription for my wife a few years ago and it is the only golf magazine she reads (out of the handful I receive). I am shocked that they would just bag it.
