Florida Panthers Calling Happy Gilmore
By Kickntrue on 12/5/08
The Florida Panthers are looking for good putters to win TaylorMade gear at 4 home games this month.
TaylorMade-adidas Golf and the National Hockey League's Florida Panthers are teaming up to present Panthers' fans with a 25-foot putting challenge at four home games in the month of December. Contestants will putt for a chance to win TaylorMade golf equipment.

"We are excited to partner with the Panthers and enhance their fans' gamenight experience, while also allowing them to test-drive the same TaylorMade products used by some of the best golfers in the world," said Eric Bean, TaylorMade Golf South Florida Representative. "We all know that hockey players are very superstitious, including the selection of their uniform number. Everyone has a favorite number and usually there's a personal story behind it. The MyTP Ball program allows golfers to connect with their number and make their golf ball an extension of themselves."
I suppose if you're going to pick a hockey team to hook up with the Florida Panthers make sense. That has to be the only ice in the state. As for all of the Happy Gilmore stuff... it's all I could think of that has to do with hockey and golf together. Sue me. Did you know I hold the league record for killing a guy with a skate?

For some reason- this was much funnier to me in Spanish.
