Golf Dimple Air Flow Video
By Kickntrue on 12/10/08
Last week we posted a story about researchers findings on dimples in golf balls. Now there is a video.
I can't embed this (sorry) but it's worth checking out. It's only 2 minutes long. I'm not sure how much the science of knowing this will help ball makers but it's cool to at least understand.

A+ on the narrator's voice. I'm not sure I could sound that dorky if I tried.

The voice does sound geeky but the video was cool.
pretty cool, so why isn't my car covered in dimples?
Good point! Hopefully this will open up new science in how to optimize the patterns. On the other hand, the patterns could be different for different flight requirements further muddying the waters for those who are unsure what ball to play for their game now.
Langdon, come visit this Spring... you'll get dimples on your car. I think I will start leaving my out during hail storms! More "efficient"
That explains the dimples on my @ss. Always wondered what those were for.
