Winning Score At Augusta?
By Kickntrue on 4/6/09
Post your best guess for the winning score at this week's Masters.
Last year the winning score was -8 by Trevor Immelman. The year before that Zach Johnson won at +1.
I'd have to think with the course being softer from expected rain this week the scores will go a bit lower. My guess is -11.

My guess is -10 unless the wind blows on the weekend and then it is -5.
-12 tiger wins to take this prediction step one further. :)
-4 it's going to be cold
Mr. Black says:
-13 for the win.
-2. leaders are gonna be -6 going to the weekend. but grind the last two days. i like singh. and tiger. and sergio. nooooot
I'll go with -9, to sneak in between some other quality guesses.
Everyone already took all of the good numbers! -8 I suppose...
-7 probably it's going to be close
i think -6 will do it.
i going with 9 with yes a tiger 68 to pull it off by one
Oglivy is going to win it with a 12 under.
No doubt in my former military mind - Tiger WINS!!! He shoots 276 (-8) to win by a shot....
Jake Bogardus says:
Ill go out on a limb Tiger sets the scoring record and wins. ya you heard me
Tiger, at minus 5, course might be soft , play long
well i think it will be -13
Tiger is my good bet at -8. My longshot Mcllroy at -8.
A broadcasters dream, Tiger & Rory in final pairing.
well i'd have to say winner at -11, if the weather turns bad soon, wind picking up -7 is the winner, my boy phil of coarse
Sergio at -11
tiger at -6
Sergio LOSES to Tiger in a playoff at -6, just so Taylor-Made doesn't lose a butt load of money on the deal.
u guys are stupid. its not gonna be that low
I like par, too.
I just hope Phil doesn't try to play like me.
If it's dry the scores will be lower than the past few years. I say double digits below par wins. I'm pulling for the Paddy Slam!
So Karvoload, let me get this straight, you like Tiger. that is quite a stretch at Augusta don't you think? i liked the UConn women's chances in last night's game too.
I would love to see the Shark, Phil, and Tiger toe to toe in the final round. If desire has anything to do with it, I think Norman would edge out Tiger. The winner could come from anywhere though. Rory? Danny Lee? My pick is Ogilvy. A different Aussie. -4.

I love it when people make these comments, and then are horribly wrong. Most of us knew the conditions would be favorable, and almost all of us were still too conservative to go that low.
