11 Year Old Proves Docs Wrong
By Kickntrue on 6/4/09
An 11 year old English boy, Brandon Craggs, was told he may never walk properly. Now he's a golf champion.
Brandon Craggs was diagnosed with cerebral palsy after being born five weeks early, the Daily mail reported Thursday.

He grew up wearing orthopedic boots and doctors told his parents he would always be too clumsy to participate in sports.

But Brandon has proved them wrong by winning the Wolverhampton Schools Championship at Penn Golf Club GÇô beating competitors five years his senior.
These are the kinds of stories you hear that make you appreciate all sports, and what they can do for people. While Tiger Woods and his $1,000,000,000 (I wrote out all the "0's" just to show how ridiculous that is) are amazing to watch, it's stories like these that touch the heart.

Congrats to Brandon, and I hope he keeps beating the odds!

It makes me so happy to hear that a kid like this can look at a game like golf and have it help him accomplish a goal which most of us take for granted. Congratulations, Brandon. My hat is off to you.

This is the finest example of "The Power of The Human Mind and A Positive Mental Attitude". This proves that goals can be achieved in spite of major problems to be overcome in the process. This young man receives my highest level of respect and congratulations for his achievements!! An example of "Can Do, Will Do" which is hard to find in today's "Negative Thinking Society"!! JWHpurist
