Free Driver If Rocco Or Phil Win
By Kickntrue on 6/9/09
Golfsmith.com is trying again. If Phil or Rocco win the US Open next week, you can win a free Callaway Driver. Like last time, they want you to buy the driver and then they'll reimburse you, but also like last time, their is a no purchase necessary option. They did add some additional teeth to that though.
To get an entry form, you have to visit a GolfSmith location, versus just printing and sending a form. The problem of course, is that not everyone has a retail location... including me. SUCK!
Umm... can someone send me an email or PM if you have a store close, so I can give you my address to mail me a couple entries (Seriously).
Still- pretty cool. Of course, Rocco is a bit of a longshot but sentimental favorite. Phil though, you'd think would have as a good a chance as Sergio did at the Masters, maybe better.

How about someone get a form and scan it as a PDF then post it online for all to complete?
The fine-print says copies won't be accepted.
I wonder how they can determine if it is a copy or an original.
I bet its on carbon paper, or something other than just an 8 x 11 copy. I'm guessing the first time they did it with Sergio it was AWESOME, but greatly underestimated the number of mail ins they'd receive. I'm guessing the insurance company wasn't as generous this time around, without a better solution.
Again- just speculating.
My wife works at Golfsmith. I can have her get the form. Let me know if you want one.
I'd like one, if you wouldn't mind.

@bducharm - have her check out how they know the form is an original. There are many who would like one.
If you live anywhere near a golfsmith, seems like its worth the trip. You can locate stores here: www.golfsmith.com/ps/retail_store.php
OK all, here is the POOP - I just spoke with my wife, who works at Golfsmith Corporate. Forms MUST be obtained in person, at a Golfsmith store. I cannot mail out forms to anyone. Obviously this is to drive foot traffic and sales within the stores. The previous promotion went well but they feel if they can get the traffic, it may drive more sales. Sorry I could not help any further.
Callaway has nothing to worry about with the way Tiger is driving the ball.
