Looks like an elephant to me...
Wooly Bully

Somewhere on the top 10 list of things you would not expect to find on a golf course has to be an 11,000 year old tooth from a Wooly Mammoth. Well... it's at least 11 on the list, right?
A groundskeeper at a Michigan country club found an 11,000-year-old-tooth from a mammoth while cutting weeds on the golf course, The Detroit News reports.

Scott Beld, a research specialist at the University of Michigan's Museum of Paleontology, tells the paper the tooth appears to be from a Columbian mammoth, which can grow as tall as 13 feet.

The 10-pound tooth appears to be from a female adolescent, Beld says.
Look- I love the idea of saving whales and all that crap, and sure- it's nice to keep animals from extinction, but sometimes I think we're better off that some of these old beasts died off. A 10 pound-tooth?! that is just scary. Dinosaurs? We wouldn't have had a chance...

Another issue of course- is with the dating. 11,000 years old seems like a pretty radom guess, which it probably is, since it came from a University of Michigan employee (ZING!). Okay- the whole point of this paragraph was to get that in (Happy OSU fans?).

If you're looking for adventure- I guess you can head out Michigan to the Morrison Lake Country Club and see what trouble you can get into.
