Ballfinder Scout- Nick Faldo says it's Good
By Kickntrue on 1/17/07
When a professional golfer puts his name behind a golf product, you know it must be awesome, right?! ...Err.. Maybe. Anyway- I'm probably not shelling out the money to try this one out, but it does look pretty cool. The Ballfinder Scout, endorsed by Nick Faldo, is a new way to not lose your golf balls on the course. It's pretty technical and pretty expensive. I'm not paying, but I DO want one.

The Ballfinder Scout is an innovative electronic device that can quickly locate hard-to-find golf balls. Developed by world-famous scientists at Sarnoff Corporation, the Ballfinder Scout uses a proprietary digital imaging system to locate golf-ball white in all natural settings. It works with any standard white golf ball. The 3.2-megapixel imager locates golf balls within seconds at 35 feet when only 3 dimples are visible. A vibro-buzz confirms successful ball location, and LED lights that point the direction.

Ok.. now I want one for sure! How many Dollars are in a Pound?

the problem is kickntrue, that its not going to work with your girly pink noodle balls...
Kickntrue says:
Wow- low blow. The "Ice" Noodles are not girly. You're just jealous cause your X-Out Top Flites are always 75 yards behind my "Ice"

It doesn't work and Faldo should be ashamed of himself. I purchased this last fall and it gives false positives off sunlight reflecting leaves, but doesn't see the ball under the leave - regardless how many dimples are visable. This spring I tried it in the grass and it still can't find balls. Don't buy it...!
