Labor Day Story Time
By Kickntrue on 9/4/09
Not everyone gets to be Golfer of the Week- but everyone has a good golf story. This is your chance to tell yours.
At the end of every GOW I asked the person to tell me a story. Sometimes their sweet. Sometimes their hilarious. Sometimes they are the grossest thing I've ever read in my life (this weeks). All in all though, they make up some of the most interesting bits of info shared on oobgolf by real golfers. So- while we have a 3 day weekend- and plenty of golf to play before the season ends (or starts for some of you down in the deep south) - here is an open thread to tell us your best story.
No contest- no can-you-top-this. Just respond in the comments to: "Tell me a story."
Have a great weekend, folks.

Not really much of a story. I play with a group of guys and we used to have our own little golf tournaments. We had a tradition that whoever came in last in these tournaments had to wear this hat the next round we played: gracethespot.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/03/part
lol that is a funny hat! I dont have many golf stories usually go by myself, i hope to make some good ones once my lil guy is big enough to come to the course with me. Hopefully he likes golf as much as his dad does! I read alot of stories how people say the best rounds are when they played with their father, or like when someone says their best memory is when they finally beat their dad. I cant wait for my son to be better than me at golf and rub it in my face!
