Why Tiger Matters In China

I made a comment earlier about Tiger playing in China for a $2M appearance fee. Here's why China still gets the better end of the deal.

Check out this well written story by Dan Washburn for ESPN.com. It's the story of one girl who met Tiger at this China even 9 years ago who is now one of the top young female golfers in the world. It also touches on some of the economic impact Tiger has to the region just for showing up one week a year (Tiger is one of the biggest taxpayers in Shenzhen, China).
