Best Moments Of 2009
By Kickntrue on 11/20/09
I swear, these "Year in Review" or "Best Of x" stories start happening earlier and earlier every year. At least for golf the season is over, though if you're writing this article now, what are you going write about in December?
Melanie Hauser from PGATour.com writes her Top 10 Moments of 2009. The big names are there and frankly when you read the list back it's a bit predictable. You realize that 2009 will be remembered for what almost happened, if it's even remembered at all.

For myself, I think that this was a great year for professional golf. In every major I was glued to the coverage because of what might happen. Tiger had a great comeback year, but no majors. There was even some great stuff coming out of the Euro and LPGA tours. Its great that golf still has some "it aint over till its over". Predictability = boreing!
The season isn't even over. No Michelle Wie?
Torleif Sorenson says:
For MYself - having not gotten to play at all this year - my top moment happened this summer when I discovered oobGolf.com - especially the Mapquest-enabled golf course directory.
But a nice "close second" was watching Y.E. Yang (on TV) host his golf bag over his head - just like NHL players hoist the Stanley Cup - in front of thousands of cheering Minnesotans who understood his gesture.
