Woods Accident Followup
By Kickntrue on 11/27/09
I'm sure more will be revealed in the next couple days but one thing is for sure, Tiger isn't have a great week. This is the best article I could find from a 100% reputable source that encapsulates the whole situation to this point. From CBSSports.com:
Woods was inducted into the Stanford Hall of Fame last weekend and was embraced by a lusty round of verbal abuse from Cal fans at halftime of the annual Big Game. Woods seemed momentarily taken aback, then regained his composure.

The catcalls and pratfalls only got worse from there.

In a 24-hour span that landed Woods on the front of the gossip and metro sections for all the wrong reasons, he was accused of cheating on his wife in a front-page tabloid headline, then crashed his car into a tree a few yards from his Isleworth mansion early Friday morning at 2:25 a.m.

If that's what Thanksgiving is like, give him 364 days of playing alongside Phil Mickelson anytime.
Depending on the website you visit the stories of what really happened are getting crazier. The "crazy rumors" I didn't want to link earlier (about his potential affair) are starting to look more and more like they may have some truth. While I would agree that the prying into his personal life that's going to happen in the next few days is inappropriate, I think it's also inevitable. I'll do my best to only post the pieces worthy of being posted, but the fact is- you can't be a celebrity as big as Tiger Woods and screw up without the world knowing about it. I guess we'll find out if that is the case or if Tiger is as squeaky clean as his image to this point.

For the sake of his two kids and wife, I hope it's the latter.

Unfortunately, his infidelity can sell newspapers. That alone will see this coming out bit by for as long as it takes. The guy is only human, despite the rumors !!
Let's not read the BS and just hope everything works out for him and has beautiful family.

All this prying into his personal life is because society in general has become too nosy. If we, as a society, would mind our own business and worry about our own lives, this kind of NEWS wouldn't be news.
We could then focus on real issues, like who has the best putter. Or the best course management.

It is all one big conspiracy carried out by Golf Channel so they can have something to talk about between now and the Masters.

Don't get me wrong Tiger's golf game is the best in the world; but if the story is true about his "infidelity" ther is no excuse for that; but the fawning golf media will cover for him; just like him throwing his clubs and his temper tantrums on the course. To be honest, I'm getting tired of seeing picture galleries of him and his family in golf publications - ther about golf not therie personal life.

If we were Saints we would not be on this Earth. Get on with your lives and PLAY GOLF! If I were famous I'd want to go out at 2:25am for some french fries because I can't do it a 4pm without being mobbed! Keep it simple people.
