Dustin Johnson Repeats
By Kickntrue on 2/15/10
Dustin Johnson won at Pebble Beach yesterday at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am. This is the 2nd straight year Johnson has won the event, and with the US Open being played at Pebble this year, this has to make him one of, if not THE favorite, right? A certain Tiger may have something to say about that, but either way, one of America's brightest stars is starting to shine even brighter (wow... that reads cheesy).
It gave him a one-shot victory over David Duval and J.B. Holmes, making him the first player in 20 years to win back-to-back in the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am.

Johnson closed with a 2-over 74, the highest final round by a Pebble Beach champion since Johnny Miller (74) in 1994. The 25-year-old Johnson is the first player since Tiger Woods to go straight from college and win in each of his first three years on the PGA TOUR.
Did anyone watch this? Sounds like a pretty fantastic ending, but I was watching my first movie in months (in a theater) with my wife for Valentine's Day.

I watched the last of it, It was good to see Duval play well and get in the mix. Dustin came through with the birdie at the end but it would have been fun to watch a play-off between Duval, Holmes, and Johnson.

I watched the last day. It was a good ending. I'll go with Backquack - it'd have been interesting to see if Johnson could've handled a play-off.

I was also hoping for a play-off. It's great to see Duval back in the game. Johnson played solid golf coming in, he could ba the real deal. It was painfull to watch Goydos burp up a nine on fourteen because the guy is so likable, at least he won the Pro-Am.
