Biggest TV Event In 15 Years

CBS is thinking Tiger's return could be big (duh). But they're talking VERY big.
"I think the first tournament Tiger Woods plays again, wherever it is, will be the biggest media event other than the Obama inauguration in the past 10 or 15 years," [CBS News and Sports president Sean] McManus said.Yah... umm, they're not talking about sporting events. They're talking EVENT EVENTS. Will you guys be sneaking out of work to watch early round coverage of whatever tournament it turns out being?
So who is the big winner? It really depends on what tournament, but if it's the Masters, the latest reported come back spot, ESPN would be the big winner in the first rounds, and CBS would be the overall winner- IF Tiger is in contention. CBS has long owned The Masters, but I'm guessing some click ESPN exec just got a little tingly thinking about it.

Of course it would. What Tiger needs to do is not publically announce if he'll play the Masters because that place is already packed and does not ever need TMZ, etc... Or he should play Bayhill so the hooplah is gone by Augusta.

Tiger confirms Masters is his return tournament!!
these guys dont work!!? it is their job to watch, I will be steaming live from office fa sho!
I'll probably be feeling a bit under the weather on the first two days of The Masters. Too sick to come into the office, but not too sick to "work from home" (i.e. sit on the couch in front of the TV with my laptop). I can't wait to see if he explodes to the top of the leaderboard or implodes and misses the cut.
