5 Kid Friendly Golf Resorts
By Kickntrue on 3/16/10
The Baltimore Sun (via The Dallas Morning News) put a list together of their top 5 choices for kid-friendly golf resorts.
I figured since there is nothing else going on today it'd be a good post.
Number one on their list is Wintergreen Resort, in Virginia, which I have played and agree wholeheartedly with as a choice. It's in great shape- but is remote enough and with enough tee options to be great for kids. I'll save the rest of the list as a surprise for those who click through.

Kids on the golf course......great idea.
Torleif Sorenson says:
GREAT post, Andrew.
Right away, when my son was an infant, I was reading childrens books and Bible stories to him and having him hear classical music and jazz -- I wanted him to see and understand that these things are good, safe, and would be a normal, essential part of his life. Similarly, I made sure My Boy was with me when I visited various golf courses and equipment stores. I wanted to psychologically imprint on him that golf is always good and that he should be able to have fun and enjoy being around the game.
It is never too early -- or too late -- to diligently put these good things in front of your children and be with them as they grow into it.
Bryan K says:
I love seeing kids on the course enjoying this great game. That is, of course, as long as they have been taught to respect the game.
I've been schooled by enough young kids to know that I'm not the proper person to judge.
