I'm sure this week is the week.
Tiger Is Going To Win This Week
By Kickntrue on 8/4/10
I think we've finally found a course Tiger can handle. Let me prove it to you after the jump. I'll admit the headline is a bit salacious, but I think I have ridiculous Tiger numbers to back me up on this one.
He's won seven times at this week's PGA Tour stop, Firestone Country Club.Re-read that last sentence. Now re-read it again, and again and again. After about 7 re-read's you'll start to know what playing against Tiger at Firestone feels like for the rest of the guys on Tour. Tiger was/is so good I think we sometimes forget how freaking amazing what he has done really is. Check out this stat:
Since 2006, Woods has played in 17 official tournaments after the British Open — he's won 12 and finished second four times.I feel like I've seen that stat before...
Anyway- got a couple links for you here. One on Tiger. One from someone predicting Lee Westwood will win (which inspired me to write this headline), and one of shooting "59" on the Tour and how the number may be losing its luster. Just think what the boys would be doing with the old grooves... HAHAHA!
Tiger Woods Is Good
Westwood Will Win And Be World #1
59 is the new 63

I too was just wondering about all the new low low scores and was wondering if maybe the grooves rule back fired on the PGA?
i feel like i've seen that picture before...
lol @ dottomm they are always trying dumb crap to stifle the low score. score are going to be like that because people are starting to play golf at a younger age.
Westwood looked mighty good today at Firestone
I believe Tiger will win as many tournaments this year as I will.

I walked with Appleby and Day yesterday for the practice round. Have to say, Appleby was just so consistant and Day was just plain long.
I only had to read that stat once! *gulp* goes the competition. I hope he wins for his sake. It has to be eating at him going this long without a win.
i love me some Bridgestone Invitational. this is my 5th major! i literally grew up just a few miles away from the course.
i'm looking for Steve Stricker or Lee Westwood to take this tournament.
2 over after 3 is not looking like a really good start
4 over after 11. Tiger may be in his first serious slump... could last a year or two.
Not looking good right now. Gotta LOVE that Bubba is leading!!!
Ouch. Bad call!
Am I the only one hoping Bubba and Cink are both on the Ryder Cup team and get paired together?
Why paired together? I'm looking forward to watching the highlights from Bubba tonight when I get to the recording.
@bp... because they seem like they'd be a whole lot of fun to watch play together, and twitter would go nuts.
Matt F says:
Well, after yesterday's effort I can't see him coming anywhere close. Did you guy's see him take a bow when he got his 2nd birdie of the day near the end of the round?
Tiger bowed? really? that is weird.
WAY TO JINX THE GUY ANDREW!
Sad trombone all over this...
Not susch a great outing for Tiger. It was rough to watch.
did you see him slice that approach off a tree? i felt like i was watching ME...ouch dude.
