Sergio Garcia said he needed some time away from golf. Who knew it was to play semi-pro soccer? One of GeoffShackelford's readers sent in this pic of Sergio suiting up for Borriol, a team that Sergio is president and owner of.
I suppose we should be on Sergio the same way we were on the CEO who gave himself a sponsor's exemption, right?! In this case... no. Not me anyway. If you own the team- you can do whatever the heck you want!

would bet $1.45 that Sergio is a better soccer player than that CEO is a golfer...
@TeT- WHOAH... slow down there. I'd be in for $1.25, but you're just getting a little crazy with the stakes!
doesnt suprise me many pro athletes are athletic enough to be semi-pro in other sports
I'm in $1.45. Now how do we settle this bet?
sergio was a whisker away from playing professional soccer instead of golf when he was growing up, look it up...
This would be an interesting wager to test. Halbritter is a 2 handicap and has passed the PGA ability test, Garcia is an athletic Spaniard who grew up playing the World's game. I guess it would come down to who could keep their cool in a pressure situation... $1.45 goes to Halbritter.
Stakes are WAY too high for this guy, I'm out!!
But tcjohnny pulled a stat I never knew!
People get away from their life with golf. How do we get away from our lives when their spent on the golf course?? Oh yea! More golf!!
Thanks trikai, TeT, I expect my winnings in the mail, you can overnight them to me, probly cost $4.50 to send that $1.45 my way.
