Backyard Golf Holes
By Kickntrue on 11/23/10 put together a slide show of some of the best backyard golf holes in America. It also doubles as a slide show of 8 people I'm extremely jealous of, and triples as a "need-to-befriend" list. Some of these make Tiger's dinky backyard practice facility look weak!

I especially like former pitcher John Smoltz's setup. The one in Bend, Oregon, isn't so bad either. The common denominator with all of these... money- and lots of it. Hmm... have you guys considered upgrading to Addict? - Best Backyard Golf Holes

I must say, I think the one in Guilford, Conn. is the best...

I've got some friends who just bought some rugged farm land on the Mendocino Coast (CA) and I'm helping them with a 130yd par three. I'll post pics if it ever gets done.

Artificial greens have come a long way from when they were a carpet on a concrete slab. When I build my private backyard course (after winning the lottery) I plan to install artificial greens to cut down on maintenance.

I bet they all can do some killer neighborhood style golf tournies. Please give me a crack at creating crossgolf courses around their property.

I had a friend in high school who had a 2 hole course built on his property, short par 3 and 4. It was pretty awesome!
