Who Wants Some Yes!?
By Kickntrue on 1/5/11
Many people were saddened to hear that Yes! Golf has gone under. If you really believe in their technology- you can buy it at auction- January 18!
Heritage Global Partners has been selected by the Chapter 7 Trustee to conduct a live auction of assets of ProGear Holdings Inc., owner of the Yes! Golf brand. The approval of Trustee’s Motion to engage Heritage Global Partners is currently pending in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Colorado. Following approval, the auction will be staged via live webcast and on location on Tuesday, January 18 at 1 p.m. MST, at the Yes! Golf headquarters in Denver, Colorado.

The Yes! Golf brand assets consists of intellectual property and trademarks including its patented “C-Groove” technology, all capital assets including thousands of dollars of inventory in the U.S., its warehouse, shop, office equipment and furniture. Company assets also include marketing vehicles such as the company website and URL, customer mailing lists as well as established Yes! Golf brand values.
Oooh- there's a live webcast! That's going to be awesome. Mark of January 18th my oob friends- I foresee a group viewing party in our future!

Truthfully though- it will be pretty interesting. I wonder if we'll know what stuff actually goes for- and it will certainly be telling to see if the big guys really value the C-Groove technology or if they think it's just a marketing gimmick.

Maybe we should pool our money and buy it for oobgolf. I have... ooh- found another nickel... $5.64.

I'm in! I have 4 bucks in my wallet, a small jar of pennies and two returnable deposit cans. Figure I can match your $5.64

So does anyone use a Yes! putter, and if so, do you swear by it?

I work at a pretty fancy country club, and when Yes! came out (or became more popular), I saw a lot in bags, no so much lately.

I'd like that putting green in the pic though

I liked the roll of Yes putters and particularly liked the Sophia model but they all felt just a bit harsh. That said I still have 2 Pro Gear (original "C" grooves putters) Sophia types I play on REALLY fast greens.

I have a Tracy. First putter I used and it's not going anywhere.

I have the Tracy II and swear by it. I'd love to pick up another Yes! ASAP.

I have a friend who has the Tracy II, and he swears by it. I should let him know about this; I bet he'd love to pick up another Yes! ASAP.
