The wrist is down...
Bones Mackay Caddies For Title Game
By Kickntrue on 1/12/11
They say it's who you know- not what you know, right? Well- it's not fair, but rich and famous people get to know more cool people- which is why Jim "Bones" Mackay got to see the BCS Championship Game from the sidelines.
Jim "Bones" Mackay is best known to sports fans as the caddie who has been at Phil Mickelson's side as he won four majors and became one of the biggest names in golf.

Mackay served as a caddie at an entirely different sporting event Monday night - the college football championship between Auburn and Oregon.

Mackay worked the sidelines as an assistant to Sports Illustrated photographer Robert Beck, lugging the award-winning lensman's equipment around the sidelines during No. 1 Auburn's thrilling 22-19 victory.

The pair struck up a relationship over the years as the golf photographer captured Mickelson's memorable moments. Mackay lives in Phoenix, so it was easy to connect with Beck at the title game and serve as what he called a "camera caddie."
Some guys have all the luck! I'm sure that is an experience Mackay will never forget- though frankly, to watch the game, I'd still rather be up a level. On the field viewing shows you the true speed of the game, but it's not the best way to see the action.

Still, that doesn't change the jealously factor one bit.

I'm with ya Andrew, robbery... I want to be a conspiracy theorist and say that it was all about Auburn [cough - Cam Newton, cough-cough] winning...
I'm from MN and we need a QB - but I DON'T want Cam Newton - thank you very much!

...and an entirely new offensive line, and D-Back's... and a replacement for aligator arms Barrion and and offensive coordinator - Oh and that minor detail - a stadium to play in next year.... Our t-wolves suck, our gophers bb are a complete non-factor and our hockey, well hockey sucks.. lol

it's been a long winter here

@bducharm - Hahaha yeah he was fun to watch last year, should have stayed home and called it a career after last year. I know this post with all over 'the internets' but I'm pulling for the Packers huge!!

I'm the antithesis of a viking fan, in the I really like the Pack as well, Rodgers as so come into his own the last couple of years, when healthy, he is amazing - have to admire the loyalty of the team and the fanbase. MN's love their Vikings but are way too band-wagon when it comes supporting them.

Just shows that the rule requires clearer definition. The moment your palm touches the ground, some portion of the area containing the carpal bones will also touch the ground. Using this criterion, the ball carrier could only touch his fingers and thumb without being down, which (I believe) is obviously not the intent of the rule. To me, the Sugar Bowl call is the one in dispute, not the call from the -B-ought -C-hampionship -G-ame... The video's ridiculously melodramatic score notwithstanding.
