Justin Leonard Sounds Swell
By Kickntrue on 1/25/11
About a month ago I linked to a PGATour.com article where Ben Crane's wife described 18 things about her husband. I thought it was a great feature- and I'm glad to see they continued it- this time with Justin Leonard. His wife Amanda explains how they met (happenstance), Justin's fears (oceans) and how great a husband he is (dates every Saturday night). The cynic in me realizes these are PR puff pieces on the pros- but I'm going to ignore that for now- and hope everything Leonard's wife says is true- and that he's as good as guy as she claims.
While many will still want to root for absolute dominance on the golf course (ie- the "return of TW) I believe it's going to access to the rest of the players through articles like this and person Twitter accounts that grows the fanbase of golf overall and has us continually tuning in between dominant superstars.
Funny thing- I just read that back and realized how cheesy it sounded. I'm not sure I really believe it... but that doesn't change the fact that you can learn 18 fun facts about Justin Leonard via his wife.

PS- The link may be worth a click just so you can see what a mid-level PGA Tour pro can pull. Hope may be lost for you- but do your family a favor and get your sons golf lessons immediately.

who would have thought justin and i had something in common - we've both run in the white rock marathon in dallas.
PS. #16 is hilarious!
@mustang6560 - yah- that one cracked me up too!
He's not sure yet if he's afraid of heights? LOL
i would say Leonard is an mid to upper level pro but ya, she is out of his leauge looks wise.
I will never forget Justin's putt he made to basically win the Ryder Cup.....
Sounds like a man who has his priorities straight. He deserves the hot wife.
Oh yay they are so great and we are so lowly. They are masters of a game in which we are lucky if our balls go anywhere when we swing at them. Their wives are beautiful whereas we mate with dogs. We are lucky that they even allow us to watch them play. Look away, I am hideous.
RE: #17, not having an ATM to me sounds a bit off, not having a credit card I can understand but not wanting quick access to your own money????
Yeah, I don't think "mid-level" is accurate for Justin Leonard. He's a major champ and has about 10 tour victories, plus a US AM.
