Another kind of memorable shot.
Are You Hungover Too?
By Kickntrue on 3/7/11
I'm not sitting at work hungover in the literal sense (headache, reeking of booze, etc), but as may as well be. I had an awesome weekend that included taking time off work, golf, casinos, video games and yes, some alcohol. My best friend since first grade came to visit me for the weekend and since we now live 1200 miles apart, we tried to make up for everything we miss in hanging out in 4 days. I think from Wednesday night to yesterday I slept for a total of 5 hours. This is all simply to say- I'm going to be borderline useless today- so set your expectations accordingly. I can't even push the work off to our new blogger buddy Nathan because he's off enjoying the last day of Mardi Gras. I'm pretty sure he's more useless than me at this point.
I didn't watch a stitch of golf this weekend though I read this morning that Rory Sabbatini won the Honda Classic. I also read that the players really loved the course and that it was set up very tough. Looking at the pictures of Rory- it looks like he's wearing a new style of headwear. I'm not a fan- but a lot of that is probably because I'm not really a fan of Sabbatini in the first place. I have no good reason for this. He should be the kind of person we like. He speaks his mind, gives his opinions and isn't afraid to say something others may not like. He's everything we've begged for Tiger to be- expect for being awesome at golf... and maybe that's the problem.
We get to gear up to a nice full field this week at Doral- which really just means Tiger and Phil will be playing. The rest of the top 48 in the world will be joining them- so that should be fun.
Let me know what I missed this weekend. Were there any memorable moments or shots?

Go take a nap.

I'm sharing in your hangover a bit. Back to work today after a 3-day weekend in Palm Springs to celebrate friends' birthdays. My brother was even able to join us from Michigan, which was awesome. Played 36 holes with varying levels of success. Partied a bit too much to kick a lingering cold, but it's worth it.

As long as it has no political undertones.
the honda wasn't too bad...yang made it interesting by cutting it to one shot going into 17...i did find it odd that they let rory tee off on 17 and then sounded the weather horn...yang had to wait 30 minutes and then tee up...i think they should have stopped play before rory hit his tee ball or after the threesome all hit...
on an unrelated note...i too am hungover...hungover from my first 9 of the year at the only course open in CT!!!...not that anyone else cares, but i was excited nonetheless...
He is wearing that funky hat b/c he had skin cancer dug out of his face in the offseason. His hat was ugly, but the shoes he and Y E Yang had on were so money! Rory was great when he walked away from Ben Crane (I think) b/c he was playing too slow.

Hey @dartboss04, I am excited for you. Okay, maybe not excited. Maybe just mildly pleased to see someone from the northern tier getting on a course. If they are playing in CT, we in MI can't be far behind.
kewl story bro.
