Tiger has withdrawn from The Players Championship after 9 holes. He was struggling (42 on front nine) and appeared to be struggling with some pain.
More to come, I'm sure.

"Tiger Withdrawls" I guess refers to that empty feeling Woods's fans get when he withdraws from a tournament like this. Bummer. This is such a cool tournament, it was bad enough that Westwood and McIlroy are not playing. Yeah I know, Tiger Woods is barely ranked above me right now, but still the tourney doesn't feel very major at this point.
@legit- I wanted to bust you for using a second "s" after the apostrophe in "Woods's", but it looks like you're right. According to grammarbook.com: "Although names ending in s or an s sound are not required to have the second s added in possessive form, it is preferred."
And that's the reason I won't write an article for oob, the grammar police are always ready to pounce.
Just for legitimatebeef :)
@backquak: we will give you a "get out of grammar jail free" card.
i would definitely need it
It would have to have read "withdrawals". Withdrawls would only happen in the south.
When I shoot 42 on the front I'm pretty stoked...makes others take their ball and go home I guess
Tiger pulled out....heh heh heh

Doesn't Michelle Wie do the same thing when she's playing badly?
