Field Virtually Set for US Open at Congressional

The last Open Sectionals were completed yesterday around the country to fill the remaining 63 spots available for the US Open at Congressional.
GolfWeek did a good job of highlighting the results and providing the best storylines from each of the 11 sectionals (NOTE: some of the links to the scores seem broken).
Vijay Singh may have decided to skip the 36-hole qualifier (which ended his streak of playing in 62 straight majors), but Sergio Garcia decided he wanted to try and keep his streak of consecutive majors in tact. The Spaniard played at Tunica National and managed to earn one of the four spots after a playoff. Here is a brief list of notables who DID and DID NOT qualify through the sectionals yesterday.
Notable players who DID qualify:
Sam Saunders, the grandson of Arnold Palmer
Steve Irwin, the son of three-time U.S. Open champion Hale Irwin
Fred Funk, who once was the golf coach at Maryland.
