Play Virtual Golf While Flying

How many times have you been flying and thought to yourself, "Man, I really wish I could tee it up right now"?
Well, if you have plans to be alive in 2050, then you're in luck because Airbus plans to change the way people fly over the next 40 years. Airbus unveiled its conceptual plane yesterday in London ahead of the Paris Airshow "Le Bourget", which includes the ability to play virtual golf.
Personalised zones replace traditional cabin classes to offer tailored levels of experience. While taking a hop between destinations, according to Airbus, passengers in 2050 could join an interactive conference; enjoy a game of virtual golf; read the kids back home a bedtime story; and recharge in a ‘vitalising seat’ whilst watching the planet spread out beneath their feet.Forget the virtual golf, I would want to fly in the Concept Cabin simply for the view. My biggest problem with airplanes is the limited view - you only get to see what's directly beside you. I want to be able to see what's up ahead and behind and to the left and right. I would love to sit on the front of the plane and watch the world go by (literally!).
I know this is only a conceptual plane (and we have 39 years to go) but I think it's bold for Airbus to predict what planes will look like so far into the future. I think if you would have asked someone 30 years ago after the moon landing if he thought we'd have a base on the moon by now, he would have said yes. You never know how technology will play out even in the near future, let alone the distance future.
Personally, I don't like playing golf on a simulator so I'm not impressed with the whole virtual golf concept. I think golf simulators mess up your swing so I try to avoid them where possible.

Hopefully you will be making enough money in 39 years to fly 1st class. There will always be that little curtain separating the masses from the fun area up front.
@bkuehn1952- They're not "cabin classes", they're "personalized zones". :)
Mustang, hopefully I can give you that opportunity someday soon to get the view out the front at 43,000 feet. It's pretty cool. The sky is not black but it's pretty dark. However not much to look at on the ground from 8 miles up and traveling at 10 miles per minute.
Simulators do mess up your swing some. You try to change your swing to compensate for the computer, and there goes your game...Good concept though, simulators that is. How about instead of virtual golf, we play real golf from the plane! Somewhat like that 3,000 yard hole in Africa, the one on the cliff!

Too much automation in the airbus line.
My ATP buddies call 'em "Scarebus"
