Davis Love III Invites President Obama to 2012 Ryder Cup

Being President of the United States (a.k.a the POTUS) comes with its perks. Sure, it's the most challenging, most stressful and arguably one of the least desirable job in the world (I wouldn't want to be President), but it's not all bad. From a golf perspective, as President, Obama can play any golf course he wants.
The U.S. Ryder Cup Captain Davis Love III hand delivered an invitation to President Barack Obama Wednesday to attend the 2012 Ryder Cup in his hometown of Chicago. Not everyone gets a hand delivered invitation to one of golf's premiere events.
Love, Phil Mickelson and Bubba Watson made the short drive from Congressional Country Club, the site of the 2011 U.S. Open, to the White House and spent about 20 minutes visiting with the POTUS.
Obama is an avid golfer so I'm sure he enjoyed hosting three of Americans most recognized golfers. It's reported that they gave Obama some new clubs and a bag for his upcoming match against House Speaker John Boehner.
What's up now Mr. Speaker? It's your move now.

Politics aside, it is nice to have a President who is hooked on golf.

President Barack Obama has an invitation to the Ryder Cup, delivered in-person from the U.S. team captain, Well Davis Love III may not go that far when he seeks a caddie but wants to pair up with a caddie who understands golf its rules and finer details. Check out the link bit.ly/mA1txa
