Watch Live Coverage of the Open Championship
By mustang6560 on 7/14/11
And we are underway at Royal St. George's for the 140th Open Championship.
So far, the highlights include Thomas Bjorn in the lead at five-under par, Rory McIlroy opening with a "patient" one-over par 71 and Dustin Johnson recording an ace at No. 16. Phil Mickelson and Lee Westwood just recently teed off so there is a lot of golf left to watch today.
If you are trying to find live coverage at the office, check out ESPN3.com. They will be streaming full coverage (none of that "featured group" or "individual hole" nonesense) until 2PM CST.
If you have cable at home, then you should be able to stream coverage on ESPN3.com at work. The only catch is you will need to know the username/password you use to login to your cable account. If you can't remember, call Comcast or whoever is your provider because you don't want to miss out on any of the action!

not entirely sure that i'm enjoying their between coverage coverage of the highlights. Didn't DJ make a hole in one? i haven't seen it yet, but i've seen all of Rory's +1 day 3 shots at a time. Perhaps favoritism isn't just saved for Tiger.
I guess we should have expected Rory would get extra coverage. Yea, DJ did ace 16. Here's a video of it, but the quality is poor.
Live streaming of 14, 15, and 16 on the Android App.
Did anyone try the Radio on the android app or on the open website? It doesnt seem to be able to maintain a good quality stream for me.
