Funny Tiger Woods Cartoon
By mustang6560 on 7/22/11
Kurt Snibbe's cartoon captures the growing sentiment surrounding team Tiger Woods.

Change is good, but like with anything, too much of the same thing is bad. Look at what's changed for him in the last 18 months: new marital status, new swing, new swing coach, new home, new caddie. The only person who made the cut was Tiger's agent Mark Steinberg, but even he is working for a new company.

At some point, Tiger is going to need to stop making changes to the environment around him because at the end of the day, he can't fire himself. And like it or not, he's brought all of his issues upon himself.

he's just doing what anyone would do in his situation. i get like that sometimes too just in general. I feel better if i completely rearrange the house, or go somewhere and do something totally different than my norm. He's searching and i think this is the first part of it. I still say it's a great idea.

It's one thing to rearrange the furniture in your living room, but trying to move the living room to the other side of the kitchen is something completely different.

I have done that as well :) The point is, when you change something, or when you want to forget something, sometimes you just have to start with a clean slate.

I think he should start over completey. Drop Nike. Drop his agent. Go buy a new set of clubs with his own money. Start playing mini-tours/Nationwide events. Go through Q-School and see if he can get his card back... the hard way. If he's gonna do it, he might as well go all the way. :)

@mjaber - know what, not to far from the truth!!! Playing a nationwide event might just be the shot in the arm he would need if he comes back and miffs up again. Playing a lower tour and winning might just be the ticket. Kind of the "tee it forward" for Tiger. Kinda shizzle thing to do to the Nationwide guys, but if it gets him back on track and back on the PGA winning and getting TV ratings, who's to say otherwise.

I am not sure Tiger should consider competing in a lesser event. Finishing 27th in a Nationwide Tour event or failing to make the cut would be a disaster. If he won, everyone would just say, 'It was a minor event.' No up side for Tiger.

I dont think his ego could go nationwide again.
Especially when he's hurt and playing bad and still takes T4 at the masters.

Tiger never said it was anyone's "fault". He wants change and is entitled to it. Swing changes take a long time even when you're healthy, imagine when you're not! I know its just a cartoon, but Tiger isn't blaming anyone but himself.

Go Tiger! That cartoon makes him look fat.

I think the fat guy is stevie. Tiger needs to surround himself with whores. It's the only part of that life he can still achieve. the golf game will follow.
