Adam Scott Follows Tiger Woods Down Under
By mustang6560 on 8/4/11
Does Adam Scott want to be Tiger Woods?
Let's look at the facts here. First, Adam Scott successfully wooed Tiger's caddie of ten plus years, Steve Williams, away from the 14 time major champ. Second, after Tiger committed to play the Australian Open in November, Adam Scott decided to commit as well. Sure, it's his home open, however, he skipped the tournament last year to play in the Singapore Open, which he won.
What's next, is Adam going to go after Elin?
But seriously, Adam Scott will join Tiger, Jason Day, Geoff Ogilvy, Greg Norman, Fred Couples, Dustin Johnson and Bubba Watson at the Australian Open. I guess he got tired of the criticism he received for skipping his national open.
Now, all I need to do is convince Andrew I need to fly down to Australian to cover the event. I mean, it's only fair to you, the oobers. How can you expect me to properly cover the action from down under from my desk in Mississippi?

Perhaps you should send an oober down to Australia to cover the tournament. I think that would make a nice giveaway :)
I wouldnt say clever. more lazy.
@Bank- You gonna hate your whole life? ;)
More love, less hate... that said, the premise of the post was fairly lame; the base information however was timely and accurate.
Hey i am not a hater, just call it like i see it. I give more praise to this bum site then smack talk. :D
Hey, we must have some Aussie Oober's out there. Give one of them a press credential and tell them to cover the event. I know there is another blog site that got press credentials for the USGA Senior Open at Inverness this year.
I will be at the Presidents Cup at Royal Melbourne the following week. Happy to write a few pieces for the press credential!!!

I'm an Aussie, sadly I live near Firestone now. Give me a plane ticket and I'll gladly cover the Australian Open for you...accommodation won't cost you a thing, I'll stay with my Mum. :-)
On another note, sad that the Australian PGA had to pay Tiger $2 million to get him to attend and event he has to play in to be considered for the US Presidents Cup team.
BTW, Scott didn't woo Williams, he borrowed him, the Woods fired him, making him a free agent.
