#18 on the course where you are about to break 100, 90, 80, 70 or par! I have never played any of these holes and I am not familiar with #5 to #10 except for Kiawah's 17th. Based on my game, #16 at Cypress would probably be the most intimidating. That's a lot of wind, water and rocks to negotiate. 10/26/12
Brian, your answer is just perfect! any hole when you're about to achieve your goal after ton of work and frustration becomes the hardest due to the pressure... 10/26/12
Also, Stonewater Golf Club #17: a 247yds par 3 from with water in front of the green, OB over the green (not that i can reach it) and bunkers all around... by far the hardest and most intimidating hole i've ever played... 10/26/12
Having Bandon Trails #14 is, IMHO, sweet validation for Mike Keiser, Bill Coore, and Ben Crenshaw. Not just like... LOVE. 10/26/12
I've played #1 and #2 twice (replicas on Tour 18 in Houston) I birdied #2 once almost holing out by mere inches and and parred the other time and on hole # 1 I parred both. looking back the island is more intimidating then Augusta #12! 10/26/12
I played #17 at TPC Sawgrass twice. Made 2 pars. The shaot was right at 138 yards both times. 10/29/12
