Only Bill Murray

Bill Murray looked absolutely ridiculous Saturday during the third round of the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am.
I am surprised the PGA Tour allowed Bill to wear the leafy camouflage jumpsuit. I know he's Carl Spackler in all, but come on, it's a golf tournament for Pete's sake. Not a hunter's fashion expo!

Tired schtick is tired. If this is what entertaining the fans means then I'll rather just sit there and be bored.
I like asking my wife, "What do you think of this guy's outfit?" usually in reference to Fowler, Poulter or Daly. Yesterday, here response was "WTF? Oh, Bill Murray."
I agree he looked ridiculous. I know he's basicly a professional clown, but I think he needs to show a little more respect for the game he says he loves and also show some respect for the golf course he was playing on.
That being said, wouldn't his wearing of camouflage be an attempt to blend in?
Does anyone remember him tackling an old(er) lady into a bunker...????
Frankly, I'd rather see Bill Murray in this outfit then Belichick in his hoodies, which he wore throughout this tournament! Now, one is a comedian (admittedly, a questionable one with this worn routine), the other is a guy who essentially gives the finger to all the establishment, both in football and in golf. I wonder how he dresses when he goes to golf at his own CC, or do they have a dress code exception for Mr. Bill too...
I'm usually a pretty conservative person, but I like Murray, and I'm glad he doesn't take things too seriously. It's nice to see golf lighten up a little. It's one tournament. The PGA tour should be pleased that people are talking about golf at all.
I seriously doubt that the PGA Tour would have the stones to tell Mr. Murray what he can/cannot wear during a round. If they did, I think he response would probably be something along the lines of "You guys invited me to play. I didn't ask. You wanted me here because I bring in "casual" golf fans, and get this tournament mentioned beyond a blip on Sportscenter. You wanted me, and this is me. Deal with it."
Personally, I'd love to see Murray in the same group as Paul Goydos and Rocco Mediate. You mic those three guys, and pray for a rain delay on Sunday so you can replay their round.

Billy in a Ghillie.
The service men/women certainly enjoyed Murray. And I agree with sjduffers, Bellichick had a damned hoodie on again. He couldn't shed it for the SB either. WTF?
Well, Bill took his hoodie off for Sunday. A commentator made a crack saying he didn't recognize him not in a hoodie, he was right, he looks weird without one.
dress codes aren't cool anyway
I would like to hear what BEEF finds funny and amusing... Always the first responder and always with a negative slant. Granted I like to be disagreeable myself... so no rocks and glass houses here... just curious.
BTW: outfit was fine, schtick was tired...
Whoever enjoys bill murray is a person I would not enjoy
Bill Murray while not as funny is still a good time and enjoyable. Who cares what he wore, i thought his outfit was funny. Its a celeb tourney, laxed atmosphere, Bill is a clown and i appreciate people like him.
@Tet: I like Mitch Hedberg, Office Space, This Is Spinal Tap, Larry David-era Seinfeld, the Simpsons circa 1995-1999. But yeah you are right, I hardly like anything. What can I do, it's not like I force myself not to laugh at stuff. Guess you could say I am a hater, and the internet is where I spew it all out. But that said I like Caddyshack and I think Bill Murray is a great comedic actor, I mean he pretty much carried Ghostbusters, and a lot of other big movie films.
I think Bill Murray is great and one of the funniest comedians period. It's a Pro Am, for crying out loud, who cares what they wear. The pro's wear what they do because they are pro's, the amataurs wear what they want. Just like real life. He had a collar and it wasn't denim, usually the only 2 clothing rules courses get huffy about anyhow.....
