Top of The Rock's Rockin' Practice Range

Earlier today, we told you about how the Champions Tour's Legends of Golf (the event that actually led to creation of the Senior Tour in the first place) will be held in the Branson, Missouri area in June. One of the courses that is co-hosting the event is Top of The Rock Golf Course in nearby Ridgedale, Missouri. This picturesque par-3 layout includes a practice range designed by Arnold Palmer and a 70,000-square-foot putting course designed by Tom Watson.

It's pretty neat, however it does seem a bit odd that they spent all that money on facilities and name cachet at a 9 hole par-3 course, even if it's a resort.
