Holiday Wish List: Birdie Ball
By Kickntrue on 11/23/06
Our first featured product in our 2006 Holiday Wish List is the Birdie Ball. I picked it first because a)its not very expensive, and b)I know from personal experience that the Birdie Ball rocks! I know there is a lot out there that "flys like a real ball, but without the distance" but the Birdie Ball is the best I've used. As goofy as it looks, it really comes off the clubface and you know when you strike it well. A solid hit gives you a nice little whistle as it takes off. The BEST part about a Birdie Ball- is I've yet to break one. I've used the same one for months, which means you can buy a 12 pack, and give a couple away as stocking stuffers while keeping 1 or 2 for yourself.
Between $35-$40 for a 12 pack.

The Company Line:
BirdieBall is a limited flight practice golf ball. It looks like a "napkin ring" yet flies exactly like a golf ball. It has a limited distance of about 40 yards. It spins exactly like a golf ball, it is heavy, it draws, it fades, and it is fun.

I own a few sleeves of these and love them. They are great for playing "catch" with another golfer, where you just hit the ball back and forth between the two of you.

I have a bunch of birdieballs too. Plus a birdieball strikepad and a nine of the birdietargets. I also just got some of the glow birdieball golf balls as well.
If they make anything else, I'll buy that too, cause these products are great. Durable, fun, unique. Wow!
I like to set up a birdieball course through the neighborhood. All my neighbors come out to play. This neighborhood golf course is bringing out the old school neighborhood, like when I was a kid. Now all the adults come out to play.
