Kingdom59.com May Be Worth Checking Out (UPDATE)
By Kickntrue on 8/24/10
AMAZING 2-DAY TAYLORMADE SALE NOW ON!

Some friends of mine in the golf industry just launched a new site- Kingdom59.com which gives great limited golf deals to their (Free) membership. Think Woot- for golf. Like I said- these are friends of mine- but I can't really speak to any of their deals or going ons, since the site just launched.

Today they are running a deal with Travis Matthew and tomorrow they're going to be running a special deal with TaylorMade. I'm pretty interested to see what that ends up being. Kingdom59.com is advertising that their deals save as much as 70% off of MSRP. It is free to sign up- though their membership is intended to be exclusive- so they say that they will cap the numbers.

It's a pretty interesting concept that has worked great in other areas of the web. It's probably worth giving away your email address and signing up for. I'll try to keep my eye on it in the next couple of weeks and post great deals when I see them.

crap! Just recently bought an r9 super tri from TGW. Could have saved myself $100! (unless they are cheap chinese knock-offs)

Anyone else dealing with a long lag time between when you sign up and when they let you into the site/send the membership email?

TWUES17 says:
Site is BS. I signed up, they said they would confirm, never sent me confirm email. When I try to sign in my username and password doesn't work, and when I try to sign up again, they say I'm already a customer. What a crock.

TUES17 - We appreciate you going to Kingdom59.com. While we have had a few glitches, logging in has not been one we have seen in large numbers. Oru confirmation emails are going out, however certain ISP's are not receiving them well as we are a new business. Please be sure to ALLOW EMAIL from Kingdom59.com in whatever email tool you are using. The email simply confirms the log in info you created, Email/password and you should be able to use this at any time. If you are still experiencing difficulties, please reach us at memberservices@kingdom59.com and we can help. Hundreds of golfers are taking advantage of our great deals, and we want you to be able to also. Kingdom59 is very legit and not BS, but all new online businesses do have kinks and we are working hard to fix them all. The site is live, working and orders are coming thru. We look forward to helping you take advantage of Kingdom59. Thanks

also....we have had over 5000 friend invitations in the last 4 days. If the site says you already have an account, simply enter your email address in the lost password pop up, and you will receive an email with the new password so oyu may log in. Thanks

Thanks - the second comment was helpful. I never got a confirmation email to begin with (checked spam, etc.), but the suggestion above got me in.

The site is a scam, Alan Parker of Kingdom 59 solicited your emails and will rip you off. I was his web developer and he tried to steal my work and server without paying a penny for it. Any person who does business that way cannot be trusted with your credit card info for ecommerce. He could easily save all your credit card info. Don't trust his store, and don't trust the man behind it. You've been warned.
