![]() Will your score put us over 20M? 20,000,000 Over Par By Kickntrue on 9/9/10
I just noticed we're less than a day away from going 20M over par as a collective community. I don't know if I should laugh or cry! On one hand- being able to get to 20,000,000 is a pretty impressive feat. On the other hand... well, it's 20M OVER par.
Not much we can do about it at this point. We're not all going to turn into Matt Kutchar over night. Still- maybe we need some collective lessons, yeah? Seriously though- Thanks guys! I think we can brag about the fact that our members are collectively higher over par than any other site on the net! I'm pretty sure overall that's a good thing. [ comments ]
btw. just picked up 4 proV1's off the beach here in Carmel off the fairway 9 and 10 pebble beach. jeez. 500 bux to slice a $6 ball into oblivion. 9/9/10
combined handicap hard... our best 10 of last 20? should be changing almost hourly :) wonder what we are over par "net"? 9/9/10
Just cracked it! Average handicap I can prob dig up. 10 of last 20 would actually end up changing every minute or so. 9/10/10
Not bad; about a 95 average or so.... 20M over for 17m holes...1.85 per hole over par. 9/10/10
The average handicap is 18.2, as mentioned above it doesn't really make sense to calculate a collective handicap. 9/10/10
I will try to bring that total down a bit - 1st round of the Club Championship today... 9/10/10
@dooboo- just announced a new Addict Giveaway today- oobgolf.com/content/site+updates/1-4062-Addict_G 9/10/10
It's true, people stink at golf. Go to any public golf course if you need proof. Too many people on the golf course who lack basic ball striking technique, basic chipping technique, don't know how to aim a shot, aim a putt, play within themselves, manage their ball, etc. The question is are we really having fun doing all this? I guess what they say is true, that one good shot is all it takes to keep you coming back. 9/11/10
20M over PAR, with an average hcp of 18 something, that is close to 1M rounds of golf! BTW, I see some strange stats on the front page. People that hit > 400% of their fairways for example. I think it's time to clean out the database a bit, rounds with only 1 score in it for example from some time ago... 9/13/10
