Arnold Palmer Invitational Giveaway
By mustang6560 on 3/22/12
The PGA Tour is in Orlando, Florida this week for the Arnold Palmer Invitation presented by MasterCard. The field does not include the top six golfers in the Official World Golf Ranking, however, the field includes the likes of Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Ernie Els and K.J. Choi so it's anything but weak.

In honor of the final leg of the Florida swing, oobgolf wants to give you a chance to win a Goose Golf Towel, courtesy of Goose Golf (read my review here). To enter the drawing, simply answer the following question in the comments section below.

Who is your favorite golfer? Why?

All comments posted by 11:59pm Sunday, March 25, 2012 will count in the random drawing. You can leave multiple comments but only your first comment will count as entry. Good luck!

** Giveaway is open to all legal US residents 18 years or older. No purchase necessary. A winner will be announced the week of March 25, 2012 on oobgolf.com. Tax expenses are not included. You have the right to refuse the prize. In case of prize refusal a series of new entrants will be picked until the prize is accepted. Odds of winning based on number of entries. Void where prohibited. For a list of winners, click here.

Tiger Woods. He still represents the gold standard on the basis of his past record. His withdrawal from Doral, however, was pretty disappointing to see. His golfing standards appear to be slipping.

Tiger only for his fearless play on the golf course and how he is such a dominate figure. I do not condone is off the field stuff!

Tiger Woods, It is amazing to watch him control the flight paths and trajectory of his shots like no has done. I enjoy seeing his super focus, in the hopes it could possibly come throught the television and rub off on me.

dtak84 says:
Luke Donald. Doesn't hit it out-of-this-world distances and wins with a short game that anyone who plays is "capable" of getting.

phallstrom says:
Mickelson from about 5 years ago... cause he'd try the shots that we'd all try even knowing it's the wrong play, but he could (usually) pull them off.

mschad says:
Luke Donald also. I like his attitude both on and off the course.

Still like to follow Tiger, he is the one that moves the needle. New for me to enjoy to follow is Jason Dufner, he lives near where I am.

And Mustang, I am glad this week you correctly got that this is the final leg of the Florida Swing.

cvargo says:
Phil Mickelson, because he is gutsy and left handed. Being left handed he is one of the few golfers I can pay close attention too

@bkuehn: I neglected to say why and I think the answer is that at the end of the day, your self and your game are all you've got. The ultimately joy is in playing much more so than watching.
