What's good for the
Goose (Towel) is good for...
CME Group Titleholders Giveaway winner!
By Torleif Sorenson on 11/19/12
oober dottomm made personal history on March 3, registering his first-ever eagle at Rooster Run and carding his lowest-ever round.  Then he mentioned it in our CME Group Titleholders Giveaway.

You cannot win if you don't participate.  dottomm did, and he is now the owner of an ├╝ber-cool Goose Golf Towel, courtesy of Goose Golf.  Please help us congratulate him!

We also thank our friends north of the border at Goose Golf for making this giveaway possible.  Further, we thank all of you who entered the giveaway and shared your best golf memories from this year with us.

On a personal note, I also want to thank each of you who chimed in with responses to my own look back at 2012.  The AWD Subaru won't happen this time, but a roomy minivan (with room for plenty of golf bags) might well happen within the next two weeks.  Between that and my son's burgeoning interest in golf, 2012 has been pretty darned good.

Wow, first eagle, lowest round and now a towel! Could a hole-in-one be far behind to finish off 2012 with a flourish? Congratulations, @dottomm.

Nice! Still working on my first eagle, but will probably get my second and following birdies before that occurs.

Wow! Thanks OOB and thank you Goose Golf. I hope I can finish 2012 the way I started it (it's been a quite a rough patch in between) and now with my 3-layer design, 6-layer construction, Water Repellant golf towel I know I've got the tools to pull it off. I love OOB Golf!!!

@mjaber - din't ya hear? über's the new 'oober'. Torleif's breaking all the rules. First, he laughs in convention's face by refusing to put i before e in his own name, and now here he comes swinging the umlaut bat!
