Introducing Arnold Palmer Hard
By mustang6560 on 10/20/11
I am confident that the majority of oobers have enjoyed the refreshing taste of an ice cold Arnold Palmer after a round of golf. And, I'm equally confident that the majority of the majority have enjoyed the half lemonade, half sweet iced tea concoction with a splash of liquor after a bad round of golf (shame on you if you substitute unsweet iced tea).
Well, my friends, the days of having to add your favorite bourbon or vodka to an Arnold Palmer to take the edge off are over because the parent company of AriZona Beverages just released an alcoholic version of the icon drink.
"We are pleased to expand our Arnold Palmer beverage brand to include an alcoholic option," said Don Vultaggio, Chairman of Hornell Brewing Company. "Through our continued partnership with Rexam, we are bringing this product to market in our iconic 24 oz. cans, making it even easier for adult consumers to enjoy this unique beverage."I am surprised it took so long for an over 21 only version of the beverage to hit the shelf. Adding a slash of liquor to an Arnold Palmer just felt natural all these years.
The Arnold Palmer Hard contains five percent alcohol by volume and will launching in a 24 oz can. It is not yet available nationwide, but if you live in Arizona, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon or Pennsylvania, you're homework tonight is to head to your local grocery store or convenience store, pick up a sixer of Arnold Palmer Hard and give it a try. Who said homework wasn't supposed to be fun!?!
I wonder if ESPN will release a "Hard" version of the Arnold Palmer Sports Center commercial?

So in a restaurant the other day and they offered me either an Arnold Palmer or a John Daly - what's a John Daly - an Arnold with alcohol.
I wonder if John Daly is going to try and sue the King over this.
that commercial cracks me up.
your title is a little racy. I didnt know the old man could even get Hard anymore.
@Banker... when I first saw the title, I thought it was going to have something to do with Viagra.
