Chubby Chandler Blames "Wozzilroy"

Reports surfaced Friday that reigning U.S. Open champion Rory McIlroy parted ways with ISM and long time friend and manager Chubby Chandler to join fellow Northern Irishman Graeme McDowell at Horizon Sports Management.
In the initial wake of the split, both sides appeared amicable. Rory "sincerely" thanked Chubby and his team for their "guidance, representation, and management" and Chubby said it was an "honor" to have represented Rory and he and his team took "great pride" in helping guide the youngster during his "formative years as a professional golfer".
But, as the day wore on, it became clear that the break up was not so friendly from Chubby's perspective. In a phone interview with The Daily Mail, he took the opportunity to take a subtle jab at Rory and his new girlfriend Caroline Wozniacki.
‘I don’t know whether it was his girlfriend (world No 1 tennis player Caroline Wozniacki) getting in his ear or someone else but I thought we were doing a pretty good job, to be honest, and I think that’s how the outside world saw it,’ said Chandler. It's understandable for Chubby to be upset - he lost the biggest brand in golf - but it seems a little tawdry to suggest Rory's relationship with Caroline played a role in the break up.
The silver lining in this for Chubby is he'll continue to get paid by Rory's endorsement deals through 2015.

I thought we decided on Roroline...
Rory McIlroy is not the biggest brand in golf. Not even close to Phil Mickelson status.
i think he's bitter because he's not following him and Lee Westwood on Twitter anymore.
