ESPN Finds "Mashed Potatoes" Fans
By mustang6560 on 12/8/11
Page 2, ESPN.com's humor blog, tracked down the man, or in this particular instance, the men responsible for the Tiger Woods "mashed potatoes" incident at the Chevron World Challenge.
Now we know the identity of that somebody. Actually, somebodies: Graduated Pepperdine golfer Andrew Widmar, plus ex-teammates Andreas Adler and Parker Page (still playing on the nearby campus).I am disappointed to learn we witnessed an unoriginal moment. It would have been much cooler if he was the brains behind yelling "mashed potatoes".
I am issuing a challenge to all of you oobers out there. Whoever is the first to yell "oobgolf" during a live broadcast - at an appropriate time of course - will win a FREE oobgolf polo with their name embroidered on it (assuming the company birdieXris found for us is still in business at the time). The key is appropriate time. Please don't yell it during a player's back swing or at any other point that may disrupt a player's concentration. We are gentleman at oob so please act accordingly. Also, there must be video evidence that can be sent to me for verification.
Good luck and game on!

I will yell "Oobgolf" whenever I damn well please, sir.
haha. they'll be there. I have to get some other colors for next year.
What do I get if I streak onto the 18th green at Augusta with OOB on one cheek and GOLF on the other? Besides arrested and banned from Augusta?
I think there are enough LSU fans on this site to do a group streak at the Sugar Bowl. Just make sure you run in the proper formation so we don't all see BLOGOOF.
Anyone notice the ad to the right "Mashed Potatoes Recipes"? Gotta love Google!
How about a big "O" on one cheek and a "B" on the other?
Matt F says:
How about when someone yells something stupid, everyone else beats the living @#%$ out of them?
This is about the dumbest story you could have posted. Way to encourage idiots.
argh...I cringe when I hear anyone yelling anything like that...I thought get in the hole was bad enough...
