Davis Love Hits For The Cycle
By mustang6560 on 3/1/12
Davis Love III, or DL3 for short, is only two years and two months away from reaching the age eligibility for the Champions Tour. But the 2012 U.S. Ryder Cup Captain can still compete against the "pups" on the PGA Tour.
The North Carolina native is currently tied for the lead with Rory McIlory, who is barely old enough to drink, at four-under midway through the first round of the Honda Classic. And I am not sure if anyone else noticed, but it appears as though DL3 has hit for the cycle. He has a one, two, three, four and five on his scorecard. Where are all the young guns now?
DL3 aced the par-3 fifth from 195 yards to record the hardest number to get - a "1". Then he carded a birdie "2" on the par-3 seventh, along with back-to-back birdie "3s" on the par-4 eighth and ninth holes, a few "4s" and a couple "5s". He still has the "Bear Trap" (holes 15-17) left so who knows, he may throw in a "6" or "7" for good measure.

That would be a large straight. I usually Yahtzee with 7's.
The hardest number to get? Statistically it is not a 1, but a 2 on a par 5
I've hit a 1 on a par 5...yes, predictably (and unfunnily) enough it was on the xBox.
You should post a replay of that if you have it.
Cycle - check the headline.
It would be cool to see him challenge on Sunday. It's been awhile.
I wondered what a Cyle was.

Rory's been able to drink everywhere except the US for years. What's with the stupid 21 law anyway?
