Private golf clubs gone wild!
By mustang6560 on 5/30/12
Ever wondered what happens behind the closed doors of the exclusive golf clubs of America?
Well, apparently the behavior can get a little rowdy - to say the least. Deadspin published a story about the shenanigans from the recent member golf tournament at Piedmont Driving Club in Atlanta, Georgia. The behavior was so atrociousness it let one member to send a letter to the president of the club. Here is an excerpt provided by Deadspin.
One member decided to play the 14th hole completely naked, I have not researched it, but I suspect this is also a crime in Georgia.I guess the old saying holds true, "You can take the frat boy out of college but you can't take college out of the frat boy".

I have to think this type of behavior is the exception, not the rule. Nothing like that would be tolerated where I work(Chenequa Country Club). I have heard of a few places that look the other way at that type of behavior, but they are typically cheap courses in terrible shape that nobody but the bawdiest of golfers frequents.
How does one join this club?
Sounds like a normal friday night. But really are these people grown adult or teenagers.
"I suspect that this behavior — if it occurred at Bobby Jones Golf Course — would have resulted in a call to the police and the arrest of the offender."
Nah they only call the police and have them harass regulars about hitting a car with a golf ball while the people who actually hit the car left.
Missed where the story mentioned they were members of a fraternity???
good point frat boy pete
sounds like a fun country club to visit but not sure about to join it...
