Sergio Garcia may be on to something.
One week after employing local caddie David Faircloth while winning in Greensboro, Garcia will again go through untraditional means by using a CBS spotter named Wayne Richardson on the bag at this week's Barclays tournament.Too bad Sergio didn't adopt this hire-a-new-caddie-every-week strategy earlier because it seems to be working. Since missing the cut at the PGA Championship and firing his caddie, he's shot five consecutive rounds in the 60s including today's 5-under-par 65 in the first round of the Barclays, which leaves him in a tie for fourth place. Hopefully Wayne learned from David Faircloth last week and reached an agreement with Sergio in advance as to how much he'll get for his efforts. read more Read an interesting golf article? haha. Did Serg qualify for Medinah? He should be a captains pick if not. I like sergio he keeps it real even if real is him being a dick. 8/24/12
