Ryder Cup rookie Keegan Bradley is attacking the golf course and the Matches seemingly without an ounce of fear - and it paid off. Bradley drilled a long bomb to win the first point of the Matches for the United States. And when the gallery exploded in applause, the only thing missing was the Chicago Blackhawks' goal horn going off in the background.

Surprisingly, Tiger Woods and Steve Stricker struggled on the course against Poulter and Rose, losing 2-1.

FRIDAY AFTERNOON FOUR-BALL PAIRINGS:
MATCH 1
Paul Lawrie and Peter Hanson  vs.    Bubba Watson and Webb Simpson

MATCH 2
Rory McIlroy and Graeme MacDowell  vs.    Phil Mickelson and Keegan Bradley

MATCH 3
Lee Westwood and Nicolas Colsaerts  vs.    Tiger Woods and Steve Stricker

MATCH 4
Justin Rose and Martin Kaymer  vs.    Dustin Johnson and Matt Kuchar
Dustin and Kuchar both sat out Friday morning, so the two of them playing together appears to be a good tactical move by U.S. captain Davis Love III. But perhaps they should be playing in place of Woods and Stricker.

The grounds crew rolled and re-cut the greens, so they will be playing faster this afternoon, putting a premium on putting.

The broadcast and online schedule is available here.
