Dropping (Out) Like Flies at Quail Hollow

Last week, we told you about Tiger Woods sticking to his usual three-week break following The Masters Tournament, meaning that he will not be participating in the Wells Fargo Championship at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte.
But the real story involves four greens at Quail Hollow requiring all new bent-grass sod following our unusually lengthy winter. The speculation is that Woods, who won at Quail Hollow in 2007, really withdrew because of the spoiled putting surfaces and resulting emergency repairs at 8, 10, 12, and 13. And now, more PGA Tour stars have withdrawn from this week's Wells Fargo Championship:

If I had the same speed and firmness on the greens I play I actually might be a good putter!
Is this really that big of a deal? It's the same conditions for everyone out there so just deal with it.
