PGA Tour Files Motion to Dismiss Vijay Suit
By Torleif Sorenson on 6/20/13
Last month, we told you about Vijay Singh's lawsuit against the PGA Tour over their handling of Singh's use of deer antler spray — and some of the backlash against Singh.

According to's Chris Dolmetsch, the PGA Tour responded by filing a motion to throw out Singh's lawsuit:
"On the basis of these undisputed facts, the tour's decisions under its own anti-doping program to impose discipline on Singh and ultimately to rescind that discipline, can hardly be described as illegal or having been taken in bad faith and accordingly, as a matter of law, should not be second-guessed by the court."
Whether or not you side with or against Singh, it is reasonable to suggest that the longer this drags on, the worse it becomes for all parties involved.

Still, it *does* have a certain guilty attraction... like a four-car pile-up on the freeway...

Now they can concentrate on not doing anything about slow play, letting the ball fly further and further and making the game more difficult for the average golfer by putting in rules that have no effect on the tour. I hate the idea that a small group of people can dictate to the masses that play golf. In the last year traditionalists including some on this blog blasted the idea of Playing it Forward. All of a sudden Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer and others are on the bandwagon.Nicklaus has suggesting that the tour use a "different" ball. I think that is called bifurcation. If you read the rule books that are put out by the USGA and the Tour they use different rule interpretation. If that isn't bifurcation what is?

I thought bifurcation was having sex with two women at a time.
Kurt the Knife says:
yep. Thats one way to describe it.
Tried it once. Not really all that great. Felt like too many extremities movin' about.
Kurt the Knife says:
Actually I thought bifurcation was when wife n I took separate vacations.
joe jones says:
Thats ok too. As long as the USGA and The Royal and Ancient aren't involved.
