This Blanks Was Loaded
By Torleif Sorenson on 7/2/13
Kristoffer Blanks is a 40-year-old journeyman currently playing on the PGA Tour — but on Sunday morning, Blanks wasn't carrying blanks.
As reported by Chris Alcantara of the Palm Beach Post, Blanks was arrested on Sunday morning at Palm Beach International Airport for carrying a .40-caliber Glock 27 (with eight rounds in the magazine) in his backpack, which TSA officials found as it went through their scanners.
"During an interview with deputies, Blanks said he forgot to take his gun out of the bag after he returned home from a road trip the week before, the report said. He added he did not have a concealed weapons permit. In his effort to fly to Charlotte, North Carolina, it is a good thing that Blanks was trying to fly from PBIA instead of Miami International Airport; otherwise, he could have wound up on an episode of Airport 24/7: Miami on Travel Channel.
A very curious coincidence: Blanks attended Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Alabama — the very same school that previously employed an infamously foul-mouthed golf coach named Matt Mahanic. Is there something in the water coming out of the Alabama River??!!

I think they should check everyone for guns or knives, and if you don't have one they should give you one.
